'Valve Distortion' Fuzz Box

This small circuit produces a sound that will simulate a tube amplifier. I must say that I really like the overtones, even if the box doesn't sound like a tube amp. It's good for rhythm play and it should be used in combination with a guitar amp with built-in overdrive, to open up the sound (it adds some overtones to it)!

You are free to experiment with changing the diodes. Try germanium diodes or LED's. One more experience: Try TL072 OP-amp instead of NE5532. 072, according to me, is more suited for distortion. But, of course, 5532 will work well in this circuit.
