One should not
regard the faults of others, things done and left undone by others; But one´s own deeds
of commission and ommission. If a seeker meets not a companion who is better Or
equal let him firmly pursue his solitary journey. There is no companionship with the
foolish.
Lord Buddha. More like this
To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand
And eternity in an hour.

ur Dhammapada(words of Lord Buddha)
From endearment arises grief,
From endearment arises fear.
To one who is free from endearment
There is no grief, whence fear?
From affection arises grief
From attachment arises grief
From lust arises grief
From craving arises grief
Overcome anger by non anger
Evil by good
Stingy by liberality
And liar by truth
Speak the truth; do not yield to anger;
Give even a little to him who asks.
By these three means one may go
to the presence of Gods.

Lord Buddha till Athula:
This is a thing of past, Athula, this is not only of
present.
They blame him who remains silent,
They blame him who talks much,
They blame him who speaks in moderation.
There is none in the world who is not blamed.
There never was, nor will be, nor is there now any one
who is wholly blamed or wholly praised.
By observing day after day the wise praise him who is of flawless character,
wise, and endowed with knowledge and virtue.
One who is worthy to blame another is like refined gold,
extremely pure.

More words from Dhammapada
Be watchful of speech-irritation, be restrained in
speech;
Having given up evil ways of the speech;
be of good conduct in speech.
Be watchful of speech-irritation, be restrained in speech;
Having given up evil ways of the speech
be of good bodily conduct.
Be watchful of speech-irritation, be restrained in
speech;
Having given up evil ways of the speech
be of good conduct in mind.
The wise who control their body,
who control their speech,
who control their mind
are indeed well controlled.

Lord Buddha on Life After Death (Rebirth)
Your life has come to an end now
You are in the presence of Yama(death)
There is no resting place for you on the way.
You have no provision for your journey.
Make a refuge(light) for yourself
Strive hard and be wise
Rid of stain, and passionless
You will not come again to birth and decay.

There is an end to all good things - Meraya
