August Strindberg

August Strindberg

This man is generally considered to be the greatest of all swedish writers. His fame rests securely on such works as the plays "Miss Julie", "A dream play", "The dance of death", and the books "The red room" and "By the open sea". A large selection of his writings have been translated into english by Walter Johnson for the University of Washington Press. I'll include some excerpts from some translations when I find the time.
