DANIEL SATURN FINALLY HERE
Due to a lot of financial and practical problem there has been a huge delay in the making
of the long awaited Daniel Saturn debut fullength, "Softly". Now everything seem
to finally work out as we are waiting for the result from producers CD Plant AB to arrive
any day.The record has had some overwhealming reviews (a promotionaltape was sent out last
autumn), and the most common question has been how to get a copy. The album will be
released early June 1998.
THE NEW DIRECTION OF DORIAN
From now on Dorian will be a label concentrated on the music we love the most. There are
many names for it, but the most usual one is Tweepop. You know, nice soft melodies and
jangly guitars. The early Dorian releases are more straight indieguitarpop, but now
weve put that thing over to our sublabel Silver Records. Silver will in the future
provide all kinds of alternative guitarpop, while Dorian will focus on more...light stuff.
NEW COMPILATION
And the first ever 100% twee release of Dorian will be an astonishing compilation with
over 20 swedish popband. Some well-known for those who know the business. Some completely
new to all of us. At the moment were trying to fill the last pieces to get this
record together, and we hope that it wont take the usual two years or something. If
you watch this space regularly you will find a complete list of the bands as soon as we
know. One thing is for sure. You wont be disappointed.
FURTHER DORIAN-RELEASES
After Daniel Saturn and the new Dorian compilation we have no further plans of new
releases, but some ideas are worth mentioning. Right now were working on having
these two releases.1. A singlecompilation of Gentle Tuesdays excellent singles on
Boy Wonder. Those are just very limited seven inches and we know that a lot of people are
looking for them. This is just an idea, and we have no concrete plans but wouldnt
that be a good thing, do you think?2. The long awaited debutalbum from Aquadays.
Martin, Lisa and Klara are working on a fullength and if everything turn out fine there
will be an album on Dorian sometime this year. Just plans of course...
