As you can see this page wasn't updated in quite a while. The simple reason for that was that my computer broke down, and it took me some time to get a new one. I currently don't have the programs neccesary to update the grafics on this page, and there is no soundclips available here for the moment. There is alot to do to this page, and eventually i'll take care of it.

The FEMALE ANCOR OF SADE 10" is now out. It comes on green/cyan vinyl with a really nice darkgreen cover and a poster. this baby won't let you down.

Records from Bates are or will soon be available from Bottlenekk in USA and X-mist in Germany. If you don't live in Sweden it's easier for you to order the records from them.

August 31st 1999

The FEMALE ANCOR OF SADE 10" is sent away to the pressing plant. Should be out in a couple of weeks. Check out their new website, press links.

KID COMMANDO will release a 6" flexidisc on Bates Records and iDEAL recordings. Our goal is to have it out before the end of the year. Check out the KID COMMANDO/RADIO BERLIN split 7" that will be out soon on Project icarus from Australia.

August 7th 1999

Next up on Bates Records will be a 10" with FEMALE ANCHOR OF SADE from Umea, Sweden. Slow, hysteric, ambient, screamy and noisy stuff is what you can expect from this trio. They will soon be ready to send to their shit to the pressing plant, so i guess it'll be out in a couple of months or so. This record will be a split label release with Black mask collective and La cavalera discos. I'll try to get my tapedeck back together again, so i can do some soundclips. until then you'll have to trust me, FEMALE ANCHOR OF SADE is amazing.

The STANDING 8 / THIS ROBOT KILLS 10" is now available from X-mist in Germany with nice prices for mailorder and wholesale. As far as i know the record should be available from Bottlenekk by now aswell.

July 4th 1999

The split 10" picturedisc with THIS ROBOT KILLS and STANDING 8 is finally out and it's so fucking rad. The artwork is amazing (picture soon!) and of course, so is the music. The only thing that's missing is an insert, but they will be available very soon. All those people who bought the record without it, can make their own. detailes soon.

STANDING 8 and 8 DAYS OF NOTHING (and me) are back from the europe tour, and want to salute all those who made it possible. Thank you.
