.....trading guidelines.....
PLEASE READ THIS FIRST!

Here is some basic information about my tapelist, and the information given on it. You can also find my general rules for trading here.

My tapelist is divided into five categories, "live shows", "collaborations" "miscellaneous items", "other bands" & coming additions". The "miscellaneous items" section includes all interviews, TV- & radio-shows, demos, outtakes et.c. Basically everything that's not a full live show.

As time isn't the thing I've got the most of in this life, I haven't yet put up setlists and detailed info for all shows, I've only gotten to somewhere around the beginning of 1984 so far, but I keep working... Anyway, therefore, the "songindex" and "songdate" sections doesn't really give much correct info yet, and the "detailed" list only have setlists for as far I've come in my work.... I hope to be able to put up all setlists on the "detailed list" section pretty soon though. If anyone is interested, the program I've used to make this list is
WinTaper

If you have any questions about items on the list, just send me an E-MAIL And of course, if you have anything that's not on list, ("no matter how small or seemingly insignificant"), please do likewise.

Some explanations about the "sources" of the recordings.....

AUD = Audience recording
SBD = Soundboard recording
FM = Radio Broadcast
OUT = Studio outtake(s)
STU = Studio recording
(blank) = TV broadcast

On the famous "Wuxtry Records 06/06/80" recording, the sound is taken from a video-camera recording. This is, by the way, the first ever available recording of R.E.M.

I haven't done any quality gradings of the recordings, since I find that very hard. In general however, you can say that soundboard recordings are mostly of better quality than audience recordings. TV and radio recordings are mostly good, sometimes depending on the age of the recording.

General rules for trading

*If you find anything interesting on my tapelist, just let me know what tapes you're interested in. Please also send me details of your full collection, or a link to a page where I can find it.

*I can trade either tapes or CD-R. We'll work out the details...
*If you're newbie, looking for 2:1 trades, or buying tapes, don't give up hope. Just e-mail and ask very
politely :-) if we could do one. If I'm not very busy doing tapes, I might do this.

*My tapes and CD-Rs normally come with printed J-card sleeve with setlist. I expect you to also send me setlists and, if possible, a printed sleeve.
